Gwen Duzenberry loves to read. Her enduring love affair with books began before she started school.

In high school, as an Honors Society tutor, she discovered that not all kids could enjoy the wonderful worlds to be found in books because they couldn’t read. That experience led her to become a reading specialist, the first of multiple career paths.

Many years later, an outing to a community event for authors introduced her to Romance Writers of America and new friends who encouraged and challenged her to learn to write fiction. But as a famous quote says, “Life is what happens while you’re busy making other plans.”

After some unplanned twists and turns, Gwen has abandoned the long hours of the corporate world and now spends most of each day reading and writing, both fiction and non-fiction.

Her first novel, Shadow’s Edge, will be released in 2018.

She has also completed Night of the Dragons, the first book in a middle grade series.
